Swissair or the “Flying Bank” was considered a national symbol due to its stability as well as its being one of the major international airlines in the country. In the late 1990s, the airline started an expansive project known as “Hunter Strategy” which was adversely affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States and the assets of the company were grounded quite fast due devaluation.
