The tropical rain forest is an ecosystem component that offers moist climate in the equatorial region. Evidence shows that this ecosystem covers approximately 7% of the earth’s surface. With its high level of precipitation, rain forest has the potential of supporting three levels of vegetation namely the top level, the ground level, and the canopy level.
