Rights Of Accused: Due Process

Rights Of Accused: Due Process

Submitted by • September 27, 2013

When a person is arrested and indicted of a charge, there is a tendency to assume that he is guilty. However, any accused person is innocent until proven guilty. It is vital, therefore, that law enforcers and the government adhere to the law when handling accused persons. Adhering to the law means that law enforcers must abide by the due process as stipulated in the constitution.
